Golf, Thomas Pieters snaps club over his neck in anger

Belgium golfer Thomas Pieters snapped his club over his neck after a woeful shot at the ecu tour PGA Championship on Friday (Saturday NZ time).

His moment of insanity came at some stage in an even-par spherical at Wentworth, which noticed him pass over the reduce via one shot after totalling three-over for his first rounds.

After hitting a shot he failed to like, he simply took his nine-iron and snapped it like a twig.

This is not the primary time the 26-yr-vintage has damaged one among his golf equipment, with previous incidents at the 2016 British Open and the 2017 French Open.

Kiwi Ryan Fox is also competing inside the event, and he just made the cut – currently tied for 56th on one-beneath.

Northern Irishman Rory Mcilroy is main after rounds on 12-beneath.
