Way 2: Transfer Samsung Data to Huawei Using Android Assistant
Another data transfer tool we want to share with you is the Android Assistant (with its Mac version). It is a famous Android data manager tool to transfer and manage all types of files including contacts, SMS, photos, videos, music, call logs and more for overall Android devices. What’s more, it could be used to transfer files between Android and computer, and transfer data between two Android devices safely.
Step 1. Connect your Samsung and Huawei phones to computer
Android Assistant can manage two Android devices at the same time. Just launch the installed Android manager tool and connect your Samsung and Huawei phones to this computer with two USB cable. Follow the instructions to enable USB debugging on your phone beforehand. Then, you will see the following interface.

Step 2: Backup Samsung data on computer
Highlight the name of your Samsung phone and go to “Super Toolkit” from the top menu. Then you’ll see an interface like below. Choose the option labeled “Backup” from the interface to bring out the back up dialog. Tick off the file types you want to backup, specify an output location and click “Back Up” to backup your Huawei data to computer.

Step 3. Restore Samsung backup data to Huawei phone
Highlight the name of your Huawei phone, enter Super Toolkit interface and click the “Restore” option. Choose the backup record of your Samsung phone, and then click on “Restore” button to start restoring the selected backup file to your Huawei phone.

Way 3: Copy Data from Samsung Huawei via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi Direct
If you don’t have a USB cable and do not want to use any tool to transfer data from Samsung Galaxy S/Note phone to Huawei, then you can perform the data transfer via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi Direct. Although the two ways allow you to finish the data transfer between Samsung and Huawei wirelessly, you will have to spend much time and energy to transfer data piece by piece, which is the main shortcoming of them.
Therefore, using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi Direct is much more suitable when you only need to transfer a single file or just a few small photos. Just follow the given steps:
Bluetooth Transfer:
Step 1. Turn on Bluetooth on both phones by going to “Settings” and switching on Bluetooth services. You can also directly pull down the menu in the phone desktop and switch on the Bluetooth option.

Step 2. In the Bluetooth interface, activate “Discover Mode” on both phones to make your Samsung phone “visible” to other cell phones. Select “Options,” “Discovery Mode” and “Visible.” This will enable your Samsung phone to connect wirelessly to another cell phone for data transfer. Once detected, choose the target Huawei device. Then, a request interface asking to enter the key will show up on both devices. Type in the correct key and start pairing.

Step 3. After the two smartphones are successfully paired and connected, you can go to the Samsung phone to find the photos, music, videos, APK files, etc. you want to transfer, hit the “Menu” button and choose “Share” button. Then, select the option of “Send via Bluetooth” and choose the paired Huawei phone. You will see a notification popping up on your Huawei device, where you should tap “Accept” button to receive all the files that transferred from Samsung phone.

Wi-Fi Transfer
Step 1. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi Direct on your Samsung phone and it will start to search for devices with Wi-Fi Direct within range.

Step 2. Click on the Huawei device you want to connect, and send the invitation to it. Accept the invitation on the Huawei phone and the two phones will establish a Wi-Fi direct connection.
Step 3. Now, you can select the files you want to transfer on the Samsung mobile phone and transfer them to the Huawei mobile phone in the form of Wi-Fi. The method is the same as using the Bluetooth service.
Conclusion: Which Way is the Best?
Above are the different methods you can choose to help you transfer data from Samsung Galaxy S9/S9/S7/Note 8/7/6 to Huawei P20/P10/P9/Mate 20/Mate 10. For me, I will look at the ease of operation and security of the method. Therefore, I prefer the first method – using Mobile Transfer, because it can help me achieve one-click transmission, and the file will not suffer any loss.
