Retail establishment Menarys has said it should close three branches because of the Covid pandemic.

It works 20 stores across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Talking on Radio Ulster’s Inside Business, overseeing chief Stephen McCammon said there would be occupation misfortunes.

“We are a business exchanging for a very long time and never in our set of experiences has there been anything very like this,” Mr McCammon said.

“It’s been an exceptionally dismal year and we’ve as of late entered conference with staff in three branches which will unfortunately need to shut in the New Year in light of Covid.”

The organization said over half of its business in Northern Ireland is shut because of current limitations.
