  • 3 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 4 1/2 cups cake flour
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 can vanilla frosting
  • Garnish: jelly beans or other easter candy
  • Food coloring

  • Gather your ingredients.

  • Cream the butter and sugar together in the bowl of a stand mixer or a large mixing bowl with a hand mixer, about 10 minutes, until light and fluffy.
