A man and an eight-year-old young lady have kicked the bucket in a fire at a terraced house on the edges of Hull.
Teams were called to Wensley Avenue, simply off Cottingham Road, Cottingham, in the blink of an eye before 08:00 GMT and struggled to liberate the tenants from the structure.
The man was articulated dead at the scene and the young lady was taken to emergency clinic yet passed on later.
Humberside Police said fire specialists were attempting to build up the reason for the burst.
