Police have distinguished a lady whose body was found in the Solway Firth in southern Scotland prior this month.
The revelation was made on the evening of 11 January close to Cummertrees in Dumfries and Galloway.
The lady has now been recognized as Janet McElrone, 51, from Carlisle, who had been accounted for missing in December a year ago.
A short explanation from Cumbria Police said there were no suspicious conditions.
