KARACHI: The Women’s Action Forum (WAF) on Thursday recorded a request in the Sindh High Court looking for the expulsion of Munir Akram as Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations

In its appeal, the WAF said Akram’s arrangement by the legislature and the service of remote undertakings as a Pakistani ambassador seemed to be “illicit, unlawful and void-abdominal muscle initio”.

The appeal called upon the court to control Akram “from performing elements of the Ambassador/Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations”.

In their appeal, the ladies’ privileges association noticed that, as per Pakistani the law, a resigned government employee can’t be re-procured by the government except if the reason for the re-work are worried about general society intrigue.

WAF’s request called upon the court to coordinate Munir Akram to appear on what authority he professes to hold the workplace of the Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations.

The ladies’ privileges association encouraged the high court to pronounce that Akram’s arrangement letter was unlawful and was given without legitimate power.

WAF mentioned the court to ‘for all time limit’ Akram as the Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations.

The administration designated Akram as Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in September. He had served already in a similar post from 2002-2008.
